Driving a vintage car rental was the most most terrifying experiences of my life. Have you stood on a trail on the edge of a steep ledge? You realize there is very little possibility that you will fall down – how frequently, after all, do you all of a sudden fall for no reason. However, no matter how much you try to encourage yourself, you are frightened to death of falling. Antique car rentals are kind of like that. I haven’t been in any sort of accident in years, but at the time I was renting antique cars, I was all of a sudden frightened of each and every car owner that I saw. I couldn’t even trust myself!
The antique car rental was not my concept. It was really for a movie which a very good friend of mine was executing . He is not very well related , but he is really well-funded. He didn’t wish to simply just seek out used cars, simply because he thought used cars wouldn’t appear correct in the shot – that even the oldest used cars would appear very modern.
He took a big inheritance and made it into a luck by his own smart financial skills. After that, he became careless. He made up his mind that he had to be a filmmaker , and invested in huge amounts of money in failed project after failed project. This one was going to be his significant one , and I was along for that trip .
I have to tell you that one of the main reasons that I was involved in this plan was for the chance to drive the antique rental car. It was a splendor. I don’t know much regarding classic car sales, but I know an attractive car when I see one. This was a huge, old Mustang. It was large as a boat and two times as luxurious. The antique car rental cost an arm and a leg, but it was cents in comparison to what he was going to invest on the movie overall. Since I was the only sane one in the staff, I was nominated to drive the car. I though I was up for the difficult task.
However, the moment I got behind the wheel of that antique car rental, I was so scared of crashing it that I couldn’t do the driving proper. I didn’t have the right flare, you see. I took the turns very slowly and made my way to carefully. I was supposed to be a young, rebellious child out for a cruise trip. Actually, I drove similar to a granny. Nonetheless, after an afternoon of that, I lastly loosened up. We got the take we required, drove the car back, and went out for a steak dinner. All in all, it was an excellent day shooting.
