The Truth About Purchasing Used Cars Cheap
26th May 2009
Many car buyers have been wondering which factors actually determine a used car’s value or whether you can buy used cars cheap or have to pay a lot for them. With the financial crises we are facing today, there are in particular two types of vehicles that you can make a great bargain with:
- Vehicles with poor fuel mileage
- Vehicles that can be viewed more as toys rather than cars.
With the gas prices we have today it should be pretty obvious why the demand for poor fuel mileage cars is not so high. If you go to a pawnshop you’ll probably see plenty of the Cheap used cars mentioned in the second group. Here you can find anything from customized Camaros to modified Harleys.
These cars are not normally cheap but if you buy them now you can get them at a price far below their listed value and probably sell them in the near future for their ‘normal’ price. Estimates say that more than 40 percent of the increase in gasoline price is a direct aftermath of the dollar devaluation. Moreover, there are other estimates that show gas prices will drop even as much as below $3 per gallon in relatively near future and that’s the reason the cars mentioned above will go back to the price they normally have. With this information you can make really good bargains if you act now.
