Visit the Art Car Museum

23rd August 2009

The Auburn Indiana museums are a series of several museums that show off the history and pride of Indiana, as well as displaying the accomplishments of the world. From a car museum with over one hundred vintage vehicles, both from modern times and the original conception of all the car, to a military museum that showcases the development of the technology on an international scale, there is a little of something for everyone of you.

When you plan on visiting the Auburn Indiana museums, there are several things that you should keep in mind. First, it is impossible to thoroughly visit all of the museums in the area in only one day. Pick and choose the museums that interest you the most so that you can enjoy your time. The Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Museum, the National Automotive & Truck Museum and the Hoosier Air Museum are only four of the possible destinations that you can go to. Do not be afraid to dedicate two days to going to the museums, as all of them have fascinating galleries relating both to Indiana and to the world as a whole.

Like many other museums, the auto museums has specific rules on photography and cameras. Before you go to any one of the museums, find out what their rules are so that you do not have to leave your camera behind in the checked bags section. If flash photography is not permitted, the museum will not permit flash attachments into the galleries. Secure any items that are not permitted in the museum in your home or hotel room before you leave on your trip. In addition to this, many museums do not permit the posting of photographs taken in the museum on the internet. The objects being photographed are covered under certain laws that allow them to have any photography of their items restricted.

If you wish to support the auburn cars museums, they all require donations and volunteer effort to keep running. By donating time or money, you ensure that future tourists and generations will be able to enjoy the rich history of the Indiana area, as well as the history of the world as a whole.

The majority of the Auburn Indiana museums are located in downtown Auburn. However, some of the museums are located in nearby areas. Going to museums in the same general area will help you make the most of your time each day.
